<p>Established in 1981, Tang Apparel Co. Limited is one of Toronto's <br>
major garnment makers. The company employs over 200 persons and occupies <br>
50,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space.</p>
<p><span class="leftbold"><strong>Pattern and Sample Department</strong> </span><span class="justified"><br>
First and fitting samples are done inside the self contained sample department.
The sample team can turn out accurate samples effectively while addressing any
problems before the garnment goes into production. The grading department is
equipped with <a href="http://www.gerbertechnology.com/">Gerber technology Accumark</a>
systems for fast, accurate and consistent grading and efficient marker yields.</span>
</p>
<p><span class="leftbold"><strong>Cutting Department</strong></span><span class="bold"><br>
</span><span class="justified">The cutting room contains 420 foot long cutting
tables equipped with <a href="http://www.jesseheap.com/Pictures/Rebuilt-Machines/Fusing-Machines/Astex-6400.html" target="_blank">Astex
66” and 36” fusing machines</a>, Eastman and Niebuhr automatic spreading
machines.</span></p>
<p><span class="justified">The cutting room also has <a href="http://www.gerbertechnology.com/gtwww/03Prods/cam/MedHigh.htm" target="_self">Gerber
S7200</a> high ply cutters, capable to cut up to 50,000 garnments monthly. Skillful
cutters are specially trained for cutting plaids, checks and soft dressy fabric,
so cutting will not be affected by any occasional difficult to handle fabric.</span></p>
<p><span class="leftbold"><strong>Production Department</strong></span><span class="bold"><br>
</span><span class="justified">All production space are well lit, clean and
modernly equipped with 150 most up-to-date sewing machines such as <a href="http://www.juki.co.jp/industrial/products_en/1_needle/ddl5550n_01_e.html?menua" target="_blank">Juki
DDl-555ON-7</a> and <a href="http://www.brother.com/canada/ism/handbook/index.html" target="_self">Brother
DD 7100-403</a> single needle lockstitch machine, special machines such as <a href="http://www.brother.com/canada/ism/handbook/index.html" target="_self">Brother
BAS-612a</a> welt pocket machine, <a href="http://www.durkoppadler.com/default.htm" target="_self">Durkopp
Adler 6279</a> jacket sleeve setting machine, AMF Pic-stitch, Maier KL-325 blind
stitch, Reece Keyhole machine and Hoffman pressers are used to enhance the quality
of finished products.</span></p>
<p><span class="leftbold"><strong>Quality Assurance </strong></span><span class="justified"><br>
The head office is fully computerized with production control and tracking systems.
Merchandisers are assigned to follow up customer’s order and communication
between the clients and the factories. Quality control teams perform both in
line and final inspections to ensure quality is always up to the highest standard.<br>

communication and excellent products, Tang apparel has maintained successful
